Fit for Duty Testing
Fit for Duty testing is a rapidly growing component of employer occupational health programs. The purpose of Fit for Duty testing includes:
- Determines if physical abilities are sufficient to safely perform essential job functions
- Establishes pre-injury baseline measurements
- Measures and records any pre-existing impairments
- Provides feedback and recommendations regarding physical fitness
- Provides training on proper body mechanics for lifting, pushing and pulling
- Provides a valid framework for determining accomodations for ADA case

There are two primary types of functional testing processes that we offer our clients:
- Post-offer, Pre-Placement Functional Examinations (for new hires) and
